For anyone wanting an easy all-in-one kit to allow them to use their D-SLR Screen for shooting video in any lighting conditions, the Hoodman Cinema Kit Pro provides the answer.

Hoodman's new HoodCrane mount for the 3" Hoodloupe forms the basis for this kit and has been designed to make switching between DSLR Video Capture (or using Liveview) with the LCD Screen and shooting stills through the viewfinder quick and easy.

The HoodCrane is mounted on the camera's flash hotshoe and attaches around the 'neck' of the HoodLoupe as shown left. Completing the Cinema Pro Kit is the Hoodmag 3.0, an optional 3x magnifying eyepiece for the HoodLoupe when you need a little more than the standard 1:1 magnification that the Hoodloupe gives you.

A spring release latch on the HoodCrane allows the Loupe to swing up and pivot out of the way of the LCD screen and camera viewfinder whenever you wish to switch from taking HD Video to using the camera's viewfinder but then positions the Loupe back to the exact same position on the screen
